This latest email scam appears to inform members their online banking access has been suspended and requests they click on the hyperlink and provide personal information to reactive the account. We advise all members to remain alert and delete any suspicious emails they may receive. UniBank would never contact customers via email or phone seeking to confirm personal information. We ask members to always ensure they only log in to UniBank online banking by typing www.unibank.com.au into the address bar, rather than following the hyperlinks provided in emails. If you receive a hoax email, do not click on any hyperlinks. Instead delete the email and ensure you keep your antivirus software and spam filters up-to-date. If you believe your security has been compromised, or notice a transaction you did not make, contact us immediately on 1800 864 864 and stop using your online banking account.
