The current Chair, Emeritus Professor Bill Ford was a recipient of the Medal in 2013. A Chancellor’s Medal is a prestigious award which may be given for an outstanding contribution, or sustained contributions, to the University, such as to enable the University to discharge its teaching, research and community responsibilities more effectively.
